NIKES CLOTH TOPS, REFORM CLOTH TEE, AND STICKERS: If you want to dress in style and look good, these are the items you should get.
(CBC) The hipster trend started in the ’90s, but has gained popularity since then, especially in cities like New York, San Francisco and London.
“In the last couple of years, there’s been a lot of attention paid to fashion, and it’s really important to do that,” says Shari.
“You want to have a good fit, and you want it to look stylish, and the fashion is very important.
So, there is definitely an appreciation for the new trends and the new way of looking.”
Shari says she is always looking for ways to keep the hipster aesthetic, and has noticed a trend lately of buying styles that don’t seem to be as fashionable as the ones you see on social media.
For example, Shari’s latest look involves a classic black and white shirt with a white collar, and a navy blue pants.
In this case, she’s wearing the same style she wore last summer, but this time, it’s not a white shirt but a white pants.
It also comes in black and red, and in white, navy blue and red.
Shari is one of the many who has found a way to incorporate trendy and modern styles.
Her look is meant to highlight her hipster lifestyle, and to be “authentic to the culture.”
(CBC/Sandra Hymelin)”There’s a new generation of hipsters,” says Hymellen, “and it’s very exciting to see a lot more of that in the fashion industry, and that’s something that’s really exciting to me.”
The trend started to take off with the rise of the social media generation, says Hyneman.
Shari Hymelin is one person who has embraced the trend.
She says she wants to keep it trendy.
“I want to keep hipsters cool, and I want to wear the right clothes, and have a great fit,” she says.
But the new trend is not limited to the fashion world.
Hymellin says she has found her inspiration from fashion labels, and online retailers like Vogue, Urban Outfitters, and Jil Sander.
She also finds it interesting that some of the same brands are now being pushed by the fashion-focused social media brands.
“I think it’s a good thing that they’re coming into the market, because I think that’s a great way to expand the brand,” she said.

She has also found inspiration from some of her favourite brands, like L’Oreal and Zara.
Shari says these brands are a little more mature and modern, which she finds “very flattering.”
“I really like Zara, and L’Oréal, I really like that they put some time into the design, and they put a lot into their products,” she explains.
Hyneman says the trend can also be good for the economy.
“A lot of the clothing companies are struggling right now, and these brands that are really looking at ways to survive, and are investing in new ways to grow and to diversify their business models, are really appealing to a lot people,” she added.
The fashion trend isn’t limited to New York or the United States, however.
Hynel says it’s gaining momentum internationally.
“There’s so many brands out there that are now trying to get into this space and it just makes sense for us to take a little bit of a look at what’s happening around the world,” she noted.
