The online retailer has partnered with Macy, the nation’s biggest department store chain, to sell its own clothing, accessories and other merchandise.
The deal, first reported by The Wall Street Journal, will combine Macy’s popular men’s, women’s and children’s line with the online retailer’s “Shoe & Co.,” which offers shoes, apparel, wallets, bags and more.
Macy’s will sell $50 men’s boots, $30 women’s shoes, $25 children’s shoes and $15 women’s boots.
Macy’s will also offer $30 men’s gloves and $30 kids’ gloves.
The Macy’s deal is part of Macy’s efforts to expand into the retail space with an aggressive strategy to get into the footwear business, which is a $1.6 trillion market.
