A woman who discovered $1.2 million worth of shoe freak merchandise on Amazon is now looking for a way to make a small fortune selling her wares.
Jenna Wojcicki, of West Virginia, had her first look at the massive haul in the shopping section of Amazon when she clicked on the link for “Shoes,” which offered up more than 3,000 pairs of shoes for sale.
“I was really surprised, and kind of surprised that I was able to find so much stuff,” Wojcik said.
“When I went to Amazon, I went with the assumption that they had these things for the very rich and famous and they didn’t,” she said.
“And it turned out, they were really for a lot of people.”
For Wojczak, the search for her shoes on Amazon has turned into a hobby, where she buys them and resells them at discount prices.
“There are so many people out there that can’t afford shoes, but they can’t buy shoes on their own, and they want to,” she added.
Wojciks shoes are made of cotton, linen and wool.
She said she typically pays $30 for each pair.
The seller of one pair said the price dropped to $20 after the company discovered her shoebox.
“This is a lot more expensive than the average pair of shoes,” the seller said.
The seller said she had sold her shoes through eBay, but the shoebossers are also offering to ship them to the Wojces, who said they are looking for someone to purchase them for them.
“It’s going to be something really unique, something that is unique to you, something unique to me,” Wosciks said.

The buyer is looking for $1 million for the pair of black, mid-calf leather shoes.
“The seller has no idea how I made it,” Woosciks added.
“It is just the coolest feeling.”
Wojcek has been buying shoes online for several years, but she said she didn’t know about the trend until now.
“A lot of them, they don’t really know about how they make shoes,” she explained.
“They don’t know that they make the shoes themselves, and then they do the online selling and then when they actually get to the store they buy it.
And then they just put it in their shoe drawer.”
She has noticed the trend in other online shopping sites, too.
“People are just starting to notice,” she recalled.
“I am kind of noticing it here and now.”
Woscik is looking to start her own shoe store and hopes to make money from the sales.
“Right now, I am just trying to make it work,” she laughed.
